SPORTS THERAPIST BSc (Hons), MSTO
James is a sports therapist and soft tissue therapist registered with the sports therapy organisation (STO). He has extensive experience working in elite and high performance sport. Currently, James works with the English Institute of Sport (EIS) British Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association (BBSA) and is the owner of The Prime Practice.
James' experience lies within musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries. He specialises in the assessment and treatment of all musculoskeletal injuries. His treatments are aimed at speeding up recovery, restoring function and helping you return to your normal daily activities at work, leisure or sport. So whether you are an athlete, manual worker, office based or an active senior, treatments will be suitably tailored to your needs.
SOFT TISSUE THERAPIST
Wigs is a fully qualified Level 5 soft tissue therapist, specialising in sports and remedial massage and is also a Level 1 strength and conditioning coach. Wigs has a wealth of experience in sport as a player herself and as a therapist having worked with the local 1st and 2nd team Rugby players and the local 1st Cricket team. Wigs has an inherent desire to help people, clients range from injured teenagers to MS sufferers, and her ambition is always to have positive results.
PHYSIOTHERAPIST BSc (Hons), MCSP, HCPC
Ray trained as a physiotherapist at Kings College London and practiced both within the NHS and the private sector specialising in musculoskeletal conditions.
For treatment to be its most effective there must be a relationship of trust and understanding. Ray try's to ensure that his practice is as informative and fun as he can make it. Explaining what has happened and why the treatment methods we are using will work are key elements in the rehabilitation process.
Coupling understanding with creative, fun and most of all effective treatment is Ray's primary focus. Using a variety of modalities including Pilates, sports specific exercise and manual techniques enables us to keep treatment sessions varied and challenging to help achieve our goals.
PHYSIOTHERAPIST BSc (Hons), MCSP, HCPC
Alastair trained as a physiotherapist at Bournemouth University and has since been developing his skills in the NHS. He started his career as a respiratory physiotherapist before deciding to turn his attention to where his passion lies: musculoskeletal conditions.
He is a keen advocate for the benefit of pilates for those both rehabilitating from injury and those looking to maintain or improve fitness and wellbeing. Alastair is currently working towards becoming a certified APPI pilates instructor.
As a South West Group rugby referee, Alastair has a keen interest in sporting injuries and he is a published author in the British Journal of Sports Medicine. He believes that the key to successful rehabilitation is a well-informed patient with specific goals set. Education regarding both the condition and treatment are fundamental in allowing you to set realistic and specific goals for the patient to work towards.

Hannah graduated as a Sports Therapist from the University of Gloucestershire in 2018. Hannah has gained experience in injury assessment and treatment through placements at Stroud Rugby club and Gloucestershire County Rugby club during her degree.
Hannah specialises in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of Musculoskeletal injuries. Whatever the cause of injury the sessions are adapted to meet the clients needs, whether you are an injured sports person or struggling with day to day activities. Hannah is especially interested in rehabilitation and its use to restore function.
SPORTS THERAPIST BSc (Hons), MSST
Hannah qualified from the University of Gloucestershire with a BSc in Sports Therapy, during her career to date, she has worked with everyone from amateur sports teams through to the
Bournemouth football team. More recently Hannah has worked at the 2018 Commonwealth Games (Australia) and Rugby 7's World cup (America)
Hannah adapts her treatments around the needs of her clients, with her aim being to cut fown injury time, and regain strength, as well as confidence in the affected areas. Whatever your goal Hannah will aim to formulate an effective treatment plan for you.
DIETITIAN / NUTRITIONIST BSc (Hons)
Ian believes that all nutritional recommendations should be based on sound scientific evidence when available whilst also treating people as individuals. Too often in nutrition, personal opinion is presented as fact; Ian uses his coaching and academic experience to cut through the noise and provide the most effective interventions to each individual.
Angela trained at the prestigious Clifton Practice under the guidance of the esteemed David Newton and ensures she gets the very best and most out of each session using the latest techniques.
Having experienced hypnotherapy first hand, and witnessed its positive impact on her daughter, Angela became interested in this type of therapy. It has enabled her to see things from a client's perspective and to understand what genuinely helps.
Neuroscience is constantly evolving and it is essential to keep informed. Angela attends regular CPD courses to ensure she is up to date and has worked with the University of the South of England on a specific study into the effectiveness of solution focused guided imagery.

The Prime Practice can design a bespoke service to suit any organisation. We routinelywork with medical centres, and communicate with coaches and staff members to ensure that a cohesive and professional service is maintained for the benefit of players and students alike.
EMERGENCY PITCH SIDE SUPPORT
The Prime Practice can offer a comprehensive pitch side first aid service to schools and clubs.
Pitch side first aid, incorporates immediate trauma and sports injury management, by fully qualified and registered therapists. not only does this service offer invaluable medical support for players, It all so offers reassurance to coaches, teachers and parents. We can tailor a package to suit any club or school and have a number of options to suit all budgets .
Concussion management is a integral part of player welfare and safeguarding. The Prime Practice can offer a standalone concussion management service for any school. Concussion guidelines are based on one consensus. We adhere to strict guidelines set out by national sport organisations such as the Rugby Football Union and the Football Association
